This position reports to the Plant Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for completing administrative work to support our Campbellford Warehouse and Distribution location and to support managements commitment to food safety and quality and compliance to appropriate laws, regulations and standards.

Day:to:Day Role::/h1:
:Answer employee questions
:Process incoming mail
:Create and distributing documents
:Provide customer service to organization employees
:Serve as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators
:Maintain computer system by updating and entering data
:Set appointments and arranging meetings
:Compile reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets
:Participate in recruitment efforts
:Post job ads and organizing resumes and job applications
:Schedule job interviews and assisting in interview process
:Collect employment and tax information
:Ensure background and reference checks are completed
:Prepare new employee files
:Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation
:Orient new employees to the organization (setting up a designated log:in, workstation, email address, etc.)
:Conduct benefit enrollment process
:Serve as a point person for all new employee questions
:Process payroll, which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system
:Answer payroll questions
:Facilitate resolutions to any payroll errors
:Participate in benefits tasks, such as claim resolutions, reconciling benefits statements, and approving invoices for payment

:Adept at problem:solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner
:Complete all assigned administrative tasks for activities that include but are not limited to; correspondence, reports, listing forms, data entry, creating spreadsheets, filing, organizing, distributing, custom binders, presentations, or other administrative tasks.
:Communicate effectively in a manner that best serves the company and department.
:Liaise with other departments when necessary to resolve issues.
:Provide accurate and timely completion of tasks.
:Maintain efficient and thorough processes and procedures to support assigned activities.
:Other tasks and duties will be performed as assigned by the Plant Manager.

:Minimum 2 years administrative assistant experience
:College business graduate preferred
:Innovative problem solver
:Superior time management and organization skills
:Ability to prioritize workload and work well under pressure
:Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
:Superior conflict resolution skills
:Self:starter with the ability to work well with minimal direct supervision
:Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and communication skills are essential
:Familiar with SAP an asset
:Intermediate level of Internet usage, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
