Client Development. Identifying, meeting and developing new insurance and reinsurance clients to drive new business to the UAE
Formulise effective market entry strategies through marketing, sponsorships and conference
Client management. Personally act as “relationship manager” for all large clients
Develop long term strategy plan in line with government vision and strategic objectives
Regular participation in industry conferences and other events across the region and internationally
Manage current business development team through mentoring, upgrading skill sets and ensuring high ethical standards are upheld
Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role
Very strong network in the insurance and reinsurance industry
International experience is a prerequisite, ideally across multiple regions
At least 5 years’ experience at a senior level in a management position
Key competencies include high level of strategic understanding, judgment and decision making and high track record of delivery
