Job Summary :/h4:

The Center or Excellence for Data Migration provides Data Migration services to Ericsson customers worldwide. It is responsible to maintain and deliver the Data Migration service and assure that Regions receive the right support from GCH in all the relevant phases.

The purpose of a Data Migration Delivery and Solution lead is to drive large and complex Data Migration Service engagements towards one of Ericssons customers, supporting the Engagement Manager and the Key Accounts Manager with extensive telecom and Services knowledge and by taking on both CSR and CFR role. Job Role is Solution Architect.


Responsible to correctly scope the Data Migration Service during the sales process phases as well as assure the successful delivery of the e2e Data migration project during Delivery phase. This includes Data Migration on both Ericsson and 3PP products and solutions since Data Migration Service is not restricted to Ericsson solutions or products. Ericsson responsible at customer site during the Data Migration phase of the overall transformation project. Drives change in Ericsson, ensuring improvement, adoption and re:use of CSI methodology. Head of the pre:sales and delivery activities for any Data Migration opportunity as part of a complex transformation.

Plays the role of both CSR and CFR:

: CSR : capability to read, understand and approve the overall Data Migration solution, give the Data migration SA team guidance and directions.
: CFR : capability to read, understand and approve planning, resource allocation, man:hours estimation, cost calculation etc.
: During the delivery will be accountable for maintaining the overall cost
: Will drive the scope definition, cost calculation and planning for different players e.g. internal 3PPs or Consultant

Additional responsibilities:

: Become an Ericsson trusted Data migration advisor at customer site
: Translate, analyze and define customer requirements
: Manage the program operational relationship with the customer to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
: Responsible for the contract execution strategy and risk exposure
: Manage contract changes and/or amendments during the contract execution
: Secure delivery compliance to both contractual and business case requirements
