You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry:into:service. Currently, these new products are the all:new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high:performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:

: Analyze new systems designs, assess technical impacts, propose EMC compliance approaches, review/approve test plans, test procedures and test reports, and check compliance with certification regulations
: Support and witness EMC tests in Canada, United States and Europe as needed
: Scope the critical work needed, estimate the time required, plan and execute according to priorities


As our ideal candidate,

: You hold a Master degree in Electrical or EMC Engineering, or alternatively a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Physics Engineering with five years (5) years aerospace experience,
: You have a minimum of three (3) years working experience in EMC/HIRF/Lightning (FAR 25.981 is an asset),
: You have EMC bench testing experience (aircraft testing experience is an asset),
: You have working experience with systems qualification/certification (asset),
: You have a general knowledge of aircraft and harness design,

: You have good oral and technical writing skills in English (French is an asset),
: You have strong communication, troubleshooting and negotiation skills.
