The Bell Canada Finance team is seeking an eager finance professional who shares the passion of being a trusted value:added business partner to the Bell Residential and Small Business teams (BRSB).

The BRSB Finance team is responsible for reporting results of one of the largest revenue:generating business units in Bell Canada, as well as one of the business growth areas. The team works closely with various finance teams, strategic planning and corporate groups. Their mandate is to deliver insightful financial information and analysis to the executive team to influence decision making and drive greater profitability, while ensuring financial integrity.

The Manager, Planning and Analysis will be responsible for the Cost of Revenue and gross margin portfolio, specifically focusing on analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and long:range planning. The role provides an opportunity to work in a highly:visible, constantly:evolving, stimulating and dynamic expense portfolio, providing direct support to the BRSB executive team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in finance/planning and analysis roles and will report to the Senior Manager, BRS Finance.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

:Provide detailed reporting on all Cost of Revenue costs to the business, highlighting key business trends, risk and opportunities
:Monitor budget and post required accrual JEs during month:end
:Month:end reporting and variance analysis
:Support the financial forecasting process for in:year forecasts, budget and long:range planning
:Drive detailed analytics on costs of revenue and gross margin by product.
:Prepare financial analysis presentation materials for executive team presentations
:Manage multiple deadlines and meet all corporate requirements
:Ensure accuracy and completeness of information
:Provide continuous improvement of the forecasting and budgeting process.

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

:Professional designation or close to completion : CA, CMA, CGA or MBA
:3 years experience in financial analysis and planning
:Results oriented with the ability to prioritize and consistently deliver on time with a high degree of accuracy
:Willing to work beyond normal business hour and/or weekends as required by workload
:Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, work on various deliverables simultaneously and prioritize
:Very strong analytical skills
:Ability to partner with various cross:functional groups and management levels
:Strong communication skills along with the ability to convey financial analysis to management
:Working knowledge of Bells financial systems and processes; knowledge of SAP and BPC system is an asset
:Prior experience in posting month:end journal entries
:Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and tasks through to resolution
:Relentless attention to detail and accuracy
