The Information Technology Services department of Deloitte is seeking an Infrastructure Technology Architect for our Client Solutions Centre (CSC) with an expert knowledge of infrastructure technology systems and multi:tiered infrastructure. The incumbent will report to the Manager of Client Solutions Centre.

The incumbent will focus on the design, implementation and support of highly complex technical systems for CSC clients. The incumbent will work closely with CSC team members in the design, implementation and support of systems, including demos; sandbox; development and client facing production environments. Ongoing duties include the following:

:Provide expert advice on technology operational issues and concerns
:Design infrastructure solutions for requests from CSC clients using multiple platforms and technologies, including Windows, Linux, database, scripting, monitoring and new technologies not yet deployed
:Lead technical support standards in the CSC cloud infrastructure
:Recommend infrastructure technology solutions that solve immediate and long term concerns
:Lead implementation of major infrastructure design and development projects that require the application of new technologies
:Work with Deloitte practitioners (the client) in issue resolutions.
:Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning, execution and supportability
:Provide on:going management, monitoring and troubleshooting of new and existing systems
:Document system configurations following ISO 27001 and SOC II standards
:Follow operational policies and processes that are compliant with ITIL and SOC II standards
:Manage small project and operational teams as assigned
:Manage and track project deliverables with teams and clients
:Contribute to reporting solutions for both clients and senior management
:Participate in change control activities
:Lead and conduct scheduled system maintenance activities
:Participate in CSC On:Call rotation

:8+ years of System Administration experience with Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016 and Linux / Unix
:Familiarity with scripting on multiple platforms, Windows and Linux
:Expert in Virtual Server Technologies (VMware, Hyper:V, Citrix)
:Experience with Cloud based technologies including IAAS, SAAS and PAAS
:Strong Infrastructure Design, Planning, Documentation, and Presentation Skills
:Familiarity with remote access technologies, Citrix and Microsoft VDI infrastructure
:Experience with DMZ application architecture (Ports, IPSEC, Firewall rules etc.)
:Understanding of Active Directory, Security and Networking principles
:Experience with cloud technologies, AWS / Azure
:Experience and flexibility with multiple database technologies
:Experience with Enterprise Systems Management Tools (i.e. HP Insight Manager, SCOM)
:Familiarity with Cloudera Hadoop deployments
:Familiarity with Oracle Exadata Database technology
:Experience with Enterprise Systems Management Tools (i.e. HP Insight Manager, SCOM, SCCM, Solarwinds)
:Experience designing, implementing and supporting highly available enterprise scale systems
:Completed or working towards the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer designation, ITIL v3 and other industry certifications
:Strong problem solving methodology to provide technical expertise to the clients and the CSC team
:Knowledge of IT strategies, plans, standards, policies, procedure and directions to meet compliance requirements
:Leadership, management and administrative skills to manage team members for projects or assigned activities
:Excellent conceptual, analytical and negotiation skills. Ability to identify impacts of issues and act as a strategic focus as support to senior management
