The role requires the ability to work independently to meet an individual sales quota as well as part of a wider team to support the overal country and regional quota. Self motivation and a proactive attitude to developing new prospects and closing deals is key to being successful in the role.
Identify, generate, propose and close sales opportunities for product and service solutions over the phone, face to face selling if needed and participating in marketing sales events. Identify areas of expansion and build business plans for a defined territory.
Keep up to date on knowledge of the BI market. Achieve training targets and accreditations where appropriate to maintain a thorough understanding of Products, process and promotions, to provide the highest level of sales support
Provide pricing, proposals and take orders over the phone and through email. Utilize phone, email and web tools to communicate and present company offerings
Submit accurate weekly forecasts based on intelligent and realistic pipeline management along with any other reporting requirements, in conjunction with salesforce
To meet and/or exceed individual product and services revenue quota Effectively build and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue Weekly forecasting using the Customer Centric Selling methodology
Convert enough new business prospects to meet a monthly quota and achieve the required quantity and quality of outbound calls to sustain this quota
