PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Platform Solution Director, Commercial Sales EMEA is accountable for Business Analytic, Database and technology revenue in the EMEA commercial sales segment.

She / He is providing new business development, Territory/Account Management and Thought Leadership to D and T and Analytics Solutions across the EMEA Commercial Sales Organization.

The leader of D and T and Analytics Commercial Sales will focus on performance measurement, solution skills development, regional and MU engagement as well as sales productivity and execution. This leadership role will provide senior strategic sales cycle support on D and T and Analytics specific solutions.

He is responsible for demand generation, solution pipeline, build strategies and development of scale initiatives resulting in increased solutions pipeline, revenue and in elevating SAP’s leadership position in a solution segment.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

:
The Platform Solution Director, Commercial Sales EMEA is responsible for strategically lead Commercial Sales D and T and Analytics at all the different MUs together with Commercial sales Managers and Directors.

:
The Solutions Director will monitor the right balance between programmatic approach and top deal executive sponsorship.

:
Works with the Commercial Sales Manager and team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline and close deals on D and T and Analytics Business.

:
Works with the Regional VAT (i.e. CoE, Ipresales, Marketing) to educate target accounts/territories on the solution set and conducts territory planning for strategic deals and on sales campaigns.

:
Utilizes a disciplined approach for successful solution selling (value Centric Sales Approach), establishing and maintaining accurate, timely and documented sales revenue forecasting procedures, providing required updates to SAP executive management.

:
Ensures there is a proper business case with clear and attractive ROI impact, on each D and T and Analytics proposal EMEA Commercial Sales presents.

:
Inspires and influences internal stakeholders, experts and other resources not under direct control, helping to remove obstacles and aiming goals achievement.

:
Lead ISE/ISM deal / call coaching session to maximize solution spend

Understanding of SAP BA and DT sales bag

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Bachelor equivalent: minimum required

Master/MBA : recommended

Minimum 8years software Inside or Field Sales experience with deal closure responsibilities

Sales coaching and Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage business successfully in a matrix organization across MU Commercial Sales teams.
