As a Senior Financial Analyst within the Consumer Financial Planning and Reporting team, you will provide analytical support for both the Consumer Cable and Wireless business. You will work with cross:functional teams and assist with managing the budge, forecasting and month end reporting processes, as well as to support in the production of strategic business cases, and adhoc analysis.

This will include:

:Supportmonthly forecast and results updates from functional teams, update forecast and actuals models, ensuring accuracy, and compiling summary packages for distribution
:Work with functional teams to understand changes period:over:period and provide clear, concise documentation
:Support annual budgets and quarterly forecasts through analytics (subscribers, revenue, etc.) and provide actionable recommendations
:Manage financial models to evaluatethe forecastfor both Consumer Wireless and Cable products. Models will be used for key metric trending analysis and forecast validation.
:Analyze key data, including customer profiles and subscriber churn metrics
:Proactively develop collaborative working partnerships with functional groups and gather key information and product expertise
:Design and build financial models to analyze the economic impact of strategic business cases and leverage your business acumen to assess rationality, economic feasibility, and accuracy of analysis
:Stay apprised of Wireless and Cable industry trends and the competitive landscape

Qualifications:

:Professional accounting designation and/or MBA with specialization in Finance preferred
:2 to 3 years of progressive experience in telecommunications, and/or within finance or marketing department
:Familiarity with Hyperion Enterprise (specifically Essbase)
:Knowledge of accounting systems (specifically Oracle)
:Solid understanding of finance fundamentals, activity:based costing, as well as other analysis techniques
:Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications
:Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and competing priorities under short timelines
:Comfort and confidence in dealing with senior leadership
:Detailed:oriented, takes initiative, and an excellent team player
:Strong interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills
:Self:motivated with a positive attitude, and determined to learn and sharpen skills on an ongoing basis
