Accounting and Transaction Advisory
This growing practice will continue to serve as the core Accounting Advisory center of excellence in BC. Those joining the team will focus on Complex Accounting and Transaction Expertise, Accounting Standards Implementation Services and Securities Filings Expertise We are looking for professionals conversant in IFRS (including IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16) as well US GAAP and ASPE.

As a Senior Manager in Advisory Services you will be primarily focused on our Accounting Advisory and Transactions services:

:Build and expand your professional network and utilize your top:notch business development capabilities
:Be at the forefront of our sales team. Source, identify, contact and forge relationships in order to sell Deloitte services and exceed sales targets
:Develop materials for and participate in the delivery of presentations to targets, clients and firm personnel
:Review and contribute to the planning and execution of projects arising in one or more of our core practices
:Have opportunities to serve clients and/or support local office teams around the country and / or internationally
:Contribute to market and eminence initiatives, including development of new service offerings and marketing campaigns within the practice
:Coach, mentor and develop teams of advisory resources 13;

External Posting Qualifications 13;

:Must have CPA, CA designation or equivalency and possess a minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
:Be a recognized leader in the sales of professional services, including sourcing, identifying and networking with prospective clients and targets, with an outstanding track record of results
:Demonstrated accounting technical skills (GAAP, IFRS, control certification, securities and regulatory, assurance)
:Experience in M and A transactions and related securities filings both in the US and Canada
:Ability to view requirements strategically
:Operational aptitude (ability to translate the what is required into the how its done)
:Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
:Demonstrated problem solving capabilities (ability to find it and fix it)
:Broad advisory skillset (capacity to help client explore issues/opportunities)
:Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities 13;
