Acting as Senior Specialist, Facilities Engineering you will need to provide to provide subject matter expertise related to building infrastructure within our internal and all other related parties requiring Bell knowledge and expertise.
Our goal is to provide a business:to:project technical transition from the various business units, scope and review and approve project designs, and provide a project:to:operation performance validation transition of the final product to Operations.
Facilities Engineering Infrastructure Planning Specialists, with their extensive knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, support various internal and external stakeholders (Internal Clients, Consultants, Contractors, Program Management, Project Management, BRES Operations, etc).
You will participate in the strategic analysis related to risk management and mitigation related to critical building infrastructure. In order to do so, you will identify frame for study and perform study analysis. In this sense, youll be called as expert to identify, discuss and validate initiatives to meet growth targets and or minimize the risks. Youll have to contribute on critical systems commissioning and to validate the robustness and associated system performance
Roles and responsibilities:
:Assist to provides technical direction to the Engineering Support team located in Ontario for the development of design guidelines, and systems integration
:Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our internal client
:Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
:Creates and executes technical action plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
:Performs work reviews and mentors junior team member.

:Assist on the identification and development of team process and policies

:Perform studies definition and analysis to provide action plan in order to meet growth targets and or minimize operational risks
:Supply technical support on Project management for complex project and electrical infrastructure activities
:Define the functional and technical programs and the engineering standards of the company, for the realization of projects aimed primarily at ensuring the reliability of the telecommunications network and meet the needs of growth.
:Define the implementation of design guidelines and / or integrated solutions with our partners (suppliers and engineering firm)
:Assist in the review of specific methods and procedures (SMOP) related to the achievement of a high risk work.
