The System Design Engineer will take part in the design and development of Signalling System applications mainly for Tramway projects which will deploy and commission it.

Roles:

: Design at Signalling System level technical solutions to project/R and D needs for new functionalities or enhancements.

: Control and allocate project requirements to various subsystem and manage overall system performance

: Coordinate the design and application work of subsystems, products and other technical partners.

: Platforming: ensure the consistency of the System design work in terms of reuse, compatibility with previous versions, adequacy to market.

: Define the interfaces between the different subsystems.

: Functional specification of the system.

Responsibilities:

:
Will be responsible of the assigned task in:

System Design (Including RAMS and EMC requirements),

Technical Management (Configuration, Change Control and Requirement),

Solve technical issues concerning System under Technical Direction of Tramway Solution and Project Engineering Manager.
:
Allocate the technical tasks between the technical team members, and be responsible for the identification and management of the interfaces between sub:systems.
:
Take the responsibility for the overall performance of the system and the allocation of the performance requirements on each sub:system to meet the system requirements and ensure that these requirements are met.
:
Control the collection of technical data (Data Book) and keep it up to date.
:
To participate to the Gate Reviews (Give status on System activities).

Educational Requirements

Engineer

Technical Knowledge / Experience

Minimum of 5 year experience in urban signalling projects or tenders (tramway/metro), as system engineer.
