You will join a SW development team. This team is responsible for the design and SW development of new functionalities in Smart Grid Management Systems, as well as the bug SW correction that could arise in the systems. There will be developments on new platforms and on Legacy ones, so strong SW skills are required.
Experience as a SW analyst in Power companies is a must, desirable in Spanish market (IBERDROLA, ENEL, Gas Natural,…), as its important to understand the processes involved in an electrical company and the Spanish regulatory framework.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsibilities (not limited to):
: Understanding and implementing business rules and requirements of the customer system / application.
: Defining/selecting SW architecture and data modeling
: SW design and development of new functionalities, mainly in SmartGRID Management Systems, which live together with legacy application where reverse engineering is often involved.
: Responsible for SW quality delivery. Define and implement tests in an automatic way, running them in a continuous integration environment (Jenkins, Selenium, JUNIT, Sonar).
: Bug corrections and support for trouble resolutions in these platforms
: Drive a Development/Testing team if the implementation requires a group of people
There are two main skill areas required:
: Strong SW skills: JAVA J2EE, JBOSS, Hibernate, Weblogic, IIS, .NET, HTML5, PrimeFaces (Java Server Faces extension)
: Oracle database technology, PL/SQL, Datawarehouse, OLAP cubes, DataMining
: DataModeling knowing the processes involved in the Energy Industry
