JOB SUMMARY
The Freight Payable Coordinator handleshigh volume intercompany matching and produces complex freight transaction reports and follows up on outstanding issues to ensurethey are rectified in a timely fashion. The coordinator may also processvendor payments when necessary.
KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
:Reconcile, matchand work withoperations on intercompany transactions so items are cleared regularly.
:Prepare anddistribute unbilled freight transaction reports, andfollow:up withoperations to resolve.
:Performsome activities of processing freight payables, including:
:Match invoice with appropriate documents;
:Review and verify invoice payment information in appropriate system
:Confirmand/or obtainapproval(s) for invoices;
:Handlequeries regarding invoice, payments, credits, etc. Escalatecomplex issues or queries to Supervisor, Freight Payable.
:Investigatediscrepancies of invoice or billing. Address and resolvethe discrepancy. Escalateissues to Supervisor, Freight Payable.
:Performclerical duties such as filing, answering telephones, photocopying, faxing, etc.
:Performother related duties as assigned by management.
:Adhere to established policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
:Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
:Excellent analytical and problem:solving skills
:Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to set and manage priorities to meet all deadlines
:Ability to handle stressful situation with diplomacy and tact
:Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
:Working knowledge of enterprise resource planningsystem (CODA) would be an asset
WORK EXPERIENCE : MINIMUM REQUIRED
1 year of experience
EDUCATION
Required: Associates Degree or post:secondary education

Base salary is one component of our total rewards package which also includes incentive opportunities, benefits, and professional development. Salary ranges are established by location and reflect relevant factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions. The good:faith salary range for this position is CAD34,580:52,000 CAD. Actual compensation will be determined based on these factors and may vary accordingly.
