As part of our Nuclear Services team, you will work directly with local customers and global ATS experts to deploy, maintain, and optimize proprietary tooling and automation solutions that enable the safe and reliable operation of nuclear facilities.

We don’t just design tooling and hand it off-we follow it through its entire lifecycle, from early development to on site execution inside operating nuclear facilities, and then back again to make it better the next time around.

As a Nuclear Services Programmer, you will be responsible for serving as the Site Lead in Västerås, Sweden, ensuring the successful delivery of nuclear services projects. The position requires occasional travel to ATS manufacturing facilities in North America to support project activities and collaborate with key stakeholders.
You will work closely with the customer and ATS engineering teams to support the design, installation, commissioning, startup, validation, and ongoing operation of our customers Automation System. You will act as the primary local ATS technical representative, providing customer:facing support, coordinating home:office resources, and delivering hands:on controls and automation expertise.
You will coordinate cross:functional teams in completing warranty and service work, including upgrades and modifications, in alignment with direction from the Capex team, while taking responsibility for controls software development, troubleshooting, commissioning support, customer communications, and coordination of technical support activities throughout the lifecycle of the automation system.
Specific Responsibilities
Customer Interface and Technical Leadership
– Serve as the primary ATS technical contact for the customer site and be a regular presence on site.
– Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and responsiveness.
– Represent ATS in customer meetings and technical discussions. Support resolution of customer concerns by coordinating with ATS engineering, service, and project teams.
