Project Overview:
Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility. This is a one:of:a:kind opportunity, and we are looking for the talent that will help expand Poland’s nuclear base and build a strong and long:lasting energy future for generations to come. This position is subject to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) regulations at 10 CFR Part 810 (Part 810), which govern the transfer of hardware, materials, and technology to support the construction and operation of commercial nuclear power plants overseas.
Job Summary:
The Field Planning and Scheduling Manager provides strategic leadership, direction, and governance for all construction planning and scheduling activities supporting execution of the Poland AP1000 Project. The position reports to the Deputy Project Controls Manager and is responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously improving a large field planning and scheduling organization through all phases of construction execution.
This role directs the development, integration, maintenance, and performance monitoring of construction schedules and ensures alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities to support safe, predictable project delivery.
The position will initially be based on the site and the Gdansk project office. During peak execution, the role will lead a multi:discipline planning and scheduling organisation including Bechtel personnel and contractor planning resources.

Leadership and Organizational Management
:Establishes and leads the field planning and scheduling organization, including area, discipline, and contractor planners.
:Provides leadership to supervisors and senior planners responsible for day:to:day execution of planning activities.
