About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable plumber to support a university estate team on a short:term contract. This role focusses on reactive maintenance across campus buildings, helping ensure facilities remain safe, operational, and compliant for staff and students.This is a great opportunity for an experienced plumber who enjoys varied work in a professional, well:managed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out reactive plumbing works across the university estate Repair and maintain sanitary systems including toilets, sinks, baths, and taps Diagnose and resolve leaks, blockages, and general plumbing faults Replace or repair fixtures, fittings, valves, and associated pipework Respond promptly to maintenance issues to minimise disruption on site Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations Complete job reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum) or equivalent Proven experience in reactive maintenance or similar environments Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Strong fault:finding and problem:solving skills Good understanding of health and safety practices Reliable, punctual, and professional with a customer focused approach.
Whats on Offer
