Role and Responsibilities:

* Lead, manage, and motivate a team of mechanical production staff to meet and exceed production targets and quality standards.
* Plan and organise production schedules to optimise workflow and resource utilisation.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality assurance procedures, and company policies.
* Monitor and analyse production metrics, identifying areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and implement enhancements.
* Support training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within mechanical production or manufacturing environments as a supervisor or manager leading a team.
* Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes, fabrication / tooling, and quality control standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
* Demonstrable experience of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
